Itinerary

Upon arrival at the airport, transfer to Negombo (15KM / 20 minutes) for check-in at a 3-star hotel. Settle in and unwind as you prepare for an exciting Sri Lankan adventure, filled with rich culture, stunning landscapes, and unique experiences.

Note: All tour participants must arrive on Day 1 as the tour bus departs Negombo on Day 2 at 08:00 AM. For late arrivals (Day 2 or later), a separate transfer can be arranged at an additional cost to join the group en route.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before exploring Negombo’s historic treasures. Visit the Dutch Fort and Dutch Church, then wander through bustling streets, discovering local delicacies and souvenirs.

Later, travel to Sigiriya, stopping at the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its ancient Buddhist murals, statues, and an enormous reclining Buddha.

End the day with a delicious dinner and overnight stay at a 3-star hotel in Sigiriya, preparing for more adventures ahead.

After a hearty breakfast, enjoy leisure time or opt to climb the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress for an additional USD 36 per person. This 5th-century marvel features ancient frescoes, the famous Mirror Wall, and breathtaking views.

In the afternoon, set off on an exciting safari at Minneriya National Park, renowned for its herds of elephants, diverse wildlife, and rare bamboo trees found only in this region.

End the day with a delicious dinner and overnight stay at a 3-star hotel in Sigiriya.

After a nourishing breakfast, journey to Kandy, stopping for a scenic trek at Sudu Ganga. Walk through rubber plantations, pepper, and cocoa fields, interacting with the local Tamil community. Cross the White River via a small bridge and take a refreshing swim in its cool waters.

In the afternoon, explore the historic Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, a 14th-century royal retreat, featuring exotic flora, colonial-era architecture, and stunning landscapes.

Enjoy a relaxing morning or opt for an optional trek at Udawattakele Sanctuary for USD 8 per person. This tranquil forest reserve is home to diverse wildlife, lush greenery, and hidden trails, where you may spot rare birds, playful monkeys, and even a majestic leopard.

In the afternoon, explore Kandy’s rich culture, visiting the UNESCO-listed Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Stroll through vibrant markets, admire colonial-era architecture, and take a scenic walk around Kandy Lake.

After a hearty breakfast, travel to Nuwara Eliya, stopping at a tea factory to witness the art of Ceylon tea production. Learn about plucking, processing, and brewing, and sample a variety of distinct flavors.

In the afternoon, explore Nuwara Eliya, fondly known as ‘Little England’, with its colonial-era charm, iconic brick post office, elegant hill club, and scenic golf course. Enjoy its British-inspired architecture, cool climate, and picturesque landscapes, offering a perfect blend of history and nature.

After a fulfilling breakfast, embark on a scenic journey to Colombo (150 KM / approx. 5 hours), transitioning from misty highlands to coastal plains. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in Colombo’s vibrant blend of modern skyscrapers, colonial landmarks, and bustling markets. Whether heading to the airport or exploring further, the city offers a perfect finale to your Sri Lankan adventure, combining rich history, cultural diversity, and urban charm.
