Day 01 - Airport – Galle
Welcome at the Airport & you will meet the driver/guide at the Airport lobby. Thereafter proceed to the hotel (40 KM / 0h 45m) for check-in. (Standard check-in time is at 1400h).
Overnight stay at a 3 star hotel in Colombo.
Day 02 Galle – Arugam Bay
After breakfast, explore Galle’s colonial charm on a guided city tour. Optionally, enjoy a cycling tour through lagoons and villages. Later, proceed to Arugam Bay, a top surfing spot. Overnight in Arugam Bay (breakfast only). Dinner is on your own at a local restaurant or via tuk tuk.
Day 03 Arugam Bay – Kumana – Arugam Bay
Depart early for a morning safari at Kumana National Park, known for its rich birdlife and scenic lagoons. En route back, stop at Panama’s stunning sand dunes. In the afternoon, explore Arugam Bay and its surf spots. Overnight stay includes breakfast only; dinner at your own arrangement.
Day 04 Arugam Bay – Pasikuda
After breakfast, travel to Pasikudah and enjoy 30–45 minutes at its serene bay, ideal for relaxing or exploring vibrant marine life. Water sports like snorkeling and diving are available at your own expense. Overnight stay in Pasikudah (breakfast only). Detroves Travel can assist with advance activity bookings.
Day 05 Pasikuda – Trincomalee
After breakfast, drive to Trincomalee and explore the city’s highlights, including Fort Frederick and the ancient Koneswaram Temple, perched on Swami Rock with stunning ocean views. Discover Trincomalee’s rich cultural and historical charm. Overnight stay in Trincomalee (breakfast only).
Day 06 Trincomalee – Thiriyaya – Trincomalee
After breakfast, visit Thiriyaya to explore Girihandu Seya, Sri Lanka’s first stupa, offering serene views and historic significance. Spend your afternoon relaxing at Nilaveli Beach. Overnight stay in Trincomalee (breakfast only). Alternatively, the temple visit can be shifted to Day 7 en route to Jaffna with added drive time.
Day 07 Trincomalee – Jaffna
After breakfast, travel to Jaffna. Spend the evening at leisure or visit Nallur Kovil on foot. Optionally, enjoy a Twilight Farm Walk to experience local farming, nature, and traditional snacks (pre-booking required). Overnight stay in Jaffna with breakfast and dinner included.
Day 08 Jaffna – Naga Deepa Island – Jaffna
After breakfast, visit Naga Deepa Island to explore its sacred Hindu and Buddhist sites. Return to Jaffna for an afternoon city tour covering landmarks like Nallur Kovil, Jaffna Library, Market, and Dutch Fort. Discover the region’s rich cultural revival. Overnight stay in Jaffna with breakfast and dinner included.
Day 09: Jaffna – Anuradhapura
After breakfast, proceed to Anuradhapura with a brief stop at Elephant Pass. Explore Anuradhapura’s UNESCO-listed ruins, including sacred sites like Sri Maha Bodhi and Ruwanweli Seya. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Anuradhapura with breakfast and dinner. Modest attire is required when visiting religious sites.
Day 10: Anuradhapura – Airport
